Vancouver, July 25 – The IATSE Political Action Committee raised $9,500 at an event held at the Westin Bayshore Hotel last night during the IA’s Mid-Summer General Executive Board Meeting.  The reception was attended by officers and representatives of the Alliance as well as local union reps and officers.  The PAC event was hosted by the International, and contributions to the PAC were made by IA members from across the U.S.  

International President Matthew D. Loeb stated, “The PAC is crucial to all of our U.S. members, especially with elections coming in November.  We are grateful for the ability to contribute to candidates who support pro-labor programs.”
