The event, held in the headquarters of Local 80, Motion Picture Studio Grips, was one fund raiser in a series of many that have been held in various cities throughout the country with future events being planned.

Kucinich, a member of the IATSE for over 30 years, is running for re- election in the Ohio's 10th Congressional District. Kucinich won his previous re-election bid with 67 percent of the vote, an increase of eighteen percentage points from his 1996 showing and the third highest percentage increase of any re-elected incumbent Member of Congress.
