Leigh has distinguished herself as a brilliant student, a natural leader, and a gifted performer. Beloved for her creativity, maturity, insight, and “bigness...the big voice, the big intellect, the big heart,” Leigh has made a place for herself at the head of her class, at the heart of an arts community, and at the hands of performing masters such as Julie Andrews and A nn Reinking. She has appeared in more than thirty stage productions, in many starring roles. Her love for the performing arts has led her into a serious pursuit of vocal, dance, and theater training. Not afraid of hard work, Leigh opted for the most rigorous academic courses available to her, and excelled in all of them. Leigh participates in the life of her community, volunteering in several community service organizations. She has participated in food and clothing drives, projects to promote literacy, child care, and to expose underprivileged children to the arts. Leigh also plans to attend New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she will major in Musical Theatre.
